Like many others before me, visiting Costco for the first time was quite interesting. The signup process was hasty, and once we were there, picking up the cards was a breeze. It was cool how they used webcams for the Costco card picture, and that they were printed within minutes. Well, mum's card had problems printing so we grabbed it on our way out.
Anyway, the rumours and stories I had heard about stock were more or less true. Notable mentions are heaps of Canon 550D's, Sony A35's and a bunch of compacts. Decent prices. PS3, Xbox 360 for usual retail. An electric guitar set for $180, guitar sounded like crap though. Digital grand pianos for $2K. LEVIS 501 FOR $48. <--Next time I am there, I will procure myself a pair or two. Shame they are not STF's though, for I would have truly gone bonkers. Stock was alright I suppose, lot of bulk/wholesale sizes and Hersheys, yum.
Every blog post of late seems to inadvertently make reference to an encounter with an attractive girl/s. Likewise with this post. Costco cuties, enough said lol.
Mum took too long to buy stuff, so Dad, brother and I sat at the food place eating chocolate wafer sticks that we had bought for $4. The place had an onion dispensing device, so amazing! Next time I go, I will definitely sample the food and get refills. My only criticism of the day? Old ladies manage the entrance/exits and they are rather stuck up.
Oh, I also saw Jennifer Nguyen there, who was also at Costco for the first time haha. I am sure there is at least one Seftoner at Costco at any given moment.
Currently waiting on Costco dim sim/dumplings to cook, yummers.
